Lisa Champion, MSc (Exercise Science)
Lisa
Champion is an exercise specialist with over 20 years experience
in the fitness industry. For the last 15 years she has been one
of the directors of the Australian Fitness Network, the professional
association for the fitness industry, during which time she has
been heavily involved in the training and continuing education of
fitness professionals throughout Australia and south-east Asia.
In addition, Lisa runs a small personal training business, writes
articles for fitness and equestrian publications and is a mother
of four. After taking up dressage riding five years ago, she began
to link her expertise in the fitness industry with her quest to
become a better rider. This link has been the foundation of Riding
from the Inside Out - the program she has helped to develop with
the goal of assisting all riders to improve their postural and movement
habits both on and off the horse.
Anna-Louise
Bouvier, MAPA (Physiotherapist)
Anna-Louise
Bouvier is a Sydney-based physiotherapist who has developed an innovative
and highly effective movement awareness and exercise program call
Physiocise to help chronic pain sufferers. The program has been
so successful that she has expanded its scope to include the training
of elite athletes, fitness professional, other physios and medical
professionals. She has also worked extensively with Qantas, developing
an in-flight comfort series for passengers. Her book, Fix Your Back
(ABC Books, 2002) is a national bestseller. Anna-Louise brings careful
movement analysis and creative exercise solutions to the Riding
from the Inside Out program.
Larissa Chadwick,
NCAS Level 1 Coach, Grand Prix Dressage Rider
Larissa
Chadwick won many titles at state and nationallevel in Pony Club
before riding her first FEI dressage test at the age of 15. She
and her very special horse Aura Dell Alexander (Brandy) had an amazing
partnership which lasted nearly 15 years. She is now a full-time
dressage trainer and coach. Her philosophy of beauty and balance
while riding has been a focal point in the development of the principles
of the Riding from the Inside Out program.
